About Nadine Ann

From Wedding Photographer to Secondary School Photography Teacher, HypnoBirthing Educator to Birth Doula and Birth Photographer. One might see me as hard to define, but I consider myself experienced; experienced in life.
Before meeting my darling husband, I travelled the world as a photojournalist; photographing hundreds of weddings and events before settling down into a career as a Photography teacher which enabled me to inspire future photographers, media practitioners and content creators.

How HypnoBirthing
appeared in my life?

I met the love of my life and after 8 years of adventure, together we created the second love of our lives. Like most expectant mothers, I was apprehensive about giving birth and took to researching every book and website on the matter. But I wasn’t just looking for information. I was searching for something ‘more’ than the standard birthing experience. And in my research I discovered HypnoBirthing; a more natural and relaxed method of delivery without intervention.

HypnoBirthing method
during my labor

At 39 weeks I breathed my baby boy into this world with the support of my husband and no medical intervention. I left the hospital 12 hours later feeling completely in awe of the power we as women have.
After this experience I just knew this was my next big adventure (aside from motherhood) would be to help inspire, guide, amplify, mentor, coach and humanize the birthing women of this world.

Becoming a practitioner

I have since earned my qualifications as a HypnoBirthing practitioner specializing in the Mongan Method, and have been teaching the course and techniques, and connecting to women as a Doula and Birth Photographer. My primary goal is to help as many couples as possible both before, during and after their births to have the most amazing experience possible. My passion for all things pregnancy care, birth, HypnoBirthing and postpartum is second to none and I cannot wait to guide you in this experience.
