Should I bring my
Birthing Partner?

People often ask if this is something my partner has to come to. The answer is 100% yes! In addition to preparing a mother for labour, HypnoBirthing is about understanding how to prepare your circle of people that will be by your side during quite possibly the most vulnerable time in your life. You want them to feel empowered and strong in knowing what is occurring, how to best support you, how to respond to questions by Doctors and Midwives and how to be as present in the situation, as you will be. Your ‘Circle’ are an INTEGRAL part of you and are therefore an integral part of this process.
Your Birth Partner will learn: massage techniques to relax you, keywords to help comfort and encourage you, suggest alternative positions to help release pressure.
To be part of the birth plan process to know what each stage is and how to help. Sometimes it is even just to remind you to drink water and go to the toilet!
